Kiran* was born into a world where her future seemed written for her—a path her sisters had walked before her, one she was expected to follow. In her village, girls like her are given little choice. But Kiran refused. With a scholarship from iPartner India, she excelled in her studies, scoring 94% in her Grade 10 exams—proof of her determination to break free.

Yet, her fight isn’t over. Every year, the pressure to coerce her into sex work grows stronger. To protect her dreams, we’ve secured her a place at a renowned boarding school, where she is now preparing for the Indian Civil Services exams. She doesn’t just want to escape – she wants to lead. To create a future where no girl in her community is forced into the life she fought so hard to resist.
